Irregular Shape Ornament Finishing Class with Paige Skrickus

Ready to turn your stitched ornament into a beautifully finished piece? Join us for a special hands-on finishing class with Paige Skrickus and learn the techniques to professionally finish an irregularly shaped needlepoint ornament from start to finish. Previous experience finishing round shaped ornaments is highly suggested.

In this guided workshop, Paige will walk participants through the finishing process step-by-step, sharing tips, tricks, and techniques for working with ornaments beyond a traditional round shape. Whether you’re looking to build confidence in finishing your own pieces or simply want to learn something new, this class is a wonderful opportunity to expand your needlepoint skills.

Please Bring:

• One completely stitched irregularly shaped ornament (please note: this class is designed for non-round shapes such as arches, object shaped, or other shaped ornaments)

• Backing fabric of your choice

• 2–3 skeins of DMC 5 for cording

• photocopy of your project

All additional materials and supplies will be provided.

Note: 

Shadow stitching may be required for your project. If you are unsure if your project requires extra rows please send us a photo of your intended project to hello@marcellinedaye.com and we will be happy to advise!
